Graduation Requirements

To complete their studies in the Programme, students must:

a) Fulfil the minimum duration of study requirements.

b) Successfully complete all academic activities, including the Master's Thesis.   

Specifically, students must meet the following conditions to be awarded their degree:

• Successfully complete all compulsory courses within the Programme.
• Successfully complete all other academic activities prescribed by the Programme.
• Additionally, for the award of the degree, students must ensure the resolution of all outstanding matters with the University. These include:
  • Returning any borrowed library books to the Democritus University of Thrace Library and submitting the thesis in digital formats.
  • Returning their Student' Halls room key in accordance with the regulations for University Student Halls (if applicable).
  • Returning any borrowed equipment, books or educational materials to the University’s laboratories or other relevant departments.
  • Returning the academic ID card to the Department's Secretariat.
  • Settling any financial obligations with the University (e.g. repayment of an Erasmus grant or other funding).
