PGMP "Pharmaceutical Biotechnology"

Who can apply

Target audience: Graduates of Higher Education Institutions (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, etc. related fields).

The call for expressions of interest is published and posted on the Programme’s website and the Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics' website. The call includes all relevant details (application dates and submission location, required supporting documents, etc.) according to the Programme's Regulations.

Maximum number of admitted students: 16, of which:

  1. 8 are graduates from higher education institutions employed by PHARMATHEN, selected by the funding organisation, and holders of a certificate in English language proficiency at least at B2 level (or equivalent), or graduates of English-speaking HEIs.
  2. 8 are graduates from higher education institutions who have completed their studies in the last three years with a graduation grade of at least 'very good' (7/10) or higher and are holders of a certificate in English language proficiency at least at B2 level (or equivalent), or graduates of English-speaking HEIs. 

Candidates in this category must submit:

a) Printed application for enrolment in the postgraduate programme

b) Detailed CV

c) Copy of undergraduate degree or a certificate of completion of studies from a Higher Education Institution in Greece or an equivalent recognised foreign institution (foreign degrees must be awarded by institutions listed in the National Register of Recognised Foreign Institutions and the title awarded must be listed in the National Register of Titles from Recognised Foreign Institutions, available on the website of DOATAP)

d) Diploma Supplement or transcript, which includes the degree grade

e) Photocopy of both sides of the applicant’s ID card or passport

f) Statement of Intent to participate in the postgraduate programme.

Additionally, if available, candidates may submit publications and any kind of scientific/research writing activities, as well as proof of other activities and qualifications (e.g., certified computer knowledge, research/professional experience, second foreign language, reference letters, etc.).
