PGMP "Pharmaceutical Biotechnology"

Monitoring of Student Progress

The progress of postgraduate students in the PGMP "Pharmaceutical Biotechnology" is systematically monitored through their performance in assessments within each course. Student evaluation includes both formative and summative assessments. Formative assessments may involve written assignments, reports, oral presentations or a combination thereof. Summative assessments are conducted through written examinations. The exact format of evaluation is determined in consultation with the course coordinator and instructors, depending on the nature of the course. Assessment criteria for each course are outlined in the syllabus and communicated at the start of teaching by the coordinator. Each course coordinator compiles a report with quantitative and qualitative data for each student, which is discussed with the instructors, members of the Coordinating Committee and the MSc Programme Director at the end of each semester. Student anonymity and the confidentiality of personal data are strictly maintained.
